A warranty is your safety net when buying refurbished. Understanding what's covered, for how long and who provides the cover helps you make a confident purchase. Here's what every UK buyer should know.

Standard warranty lengths

Reputable UK sellers provide a minimum 12-month warranty on refurbished phones. Our full warranty terms explain exactly what's covered.

What a good warranty should cover

  • Hardware faults and component failures
  • Battery degradation below the certified threshold
  • Screen, charging port, speaker and microphone faults
  • Software malfunctions caused by manufacturing defects

What's usually not covered

Accidental damage, water damage from misuse, theft, loss and unauthorised repairs typically aren't covered. For these, consider separate phone insurance.
