These terms govern your use of the Second Hand Phones website ("the Site") operated from the United Kingdom. By accessing or placing an order through the Site you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
2. Definitions
"We", "us" and "our" refer to Second Hand Phones. "You" refers to the user of the Site. "Partner" refers to the UK refurbishment specialist that fulfils orders placed through the Site. "Device" refers to any second-hand smartphone listed on the Site.
3. Use of the site
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to misuse it in any way that could damage, disable or impair its operation. The content on the Site is provided for general information only.
4. Orders
All purchases initiated through the Site are fulfilled by our partner network. When you click a "Buy" button you are taken to our partner's checkout, where the contract of sale is formed between you and the partner. Pricing, stock and delivery information shown on our Site is updated regularly but the partner's checkout is the definitive source at the moment of purchase.
5. Pricing & payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by our partner using industry-standard secure payment providers. We do not store your payment card details.
6. Warranty
Every second-hand Device ships with a 12-month warranty as standard, with the option to upgrade to 24 months at checkout. Full details — including what is and isn't covered — are set out on our Warranty page.
7. Returns
You have a 45-day no-quibble returns window from the date of delivery. Faulty devices may be returned at any point during the warranty period at no cost to you. Full details are on our Returns page.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the price you paid for the Device in question.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, design and code — is the intellectual property of Second Hand Phones or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without prior written permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
