Setting up a refurbished Android phone — whether it's a Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel or any other model — is straightforward when you know what to do.
- Charge to at least 50% before powering on.
- Insert your SIM card and hold the power button to start.
- Choose language and connect to Wi-Fi.
- Sign in to your Google account — this enables apps, contacts and Play Store.
- Restore from a Google backup if you have one.
- Set up fingerprint and/or face unlock.
